JAN13 2021: in order to commence the new year neojets is founded with a fleet of 12 CRJ100 and CRJ700 aircraft in addition to two B737-700.
JAN15 2021: first international destination Phuket launched with a Dornier 328JET, enabling low density routes powered by neojets
JAN27 2021: first A220-300 enters operation
01FEB 2021: Dornier 328jets leave fleet, being replaced by additional CRJ700.
08MAR: Last 737NG aircraft leaves active NJI service. New A318 service to Beijing and Nairobi.
15MAR: 85th Aircraft joins neojets. Average aircraft age down to 10.1 years.
29APR: Subsidiary neojets Bengaluru founded for operations from BLR with seven ATR72/A319 Aircraft.
12MAY: neojets Bombay launched to support BOM operations
03JUL: New aircraft base in Chennai opened with 15 CRJ700 based in Chennai
03AUG: First 787 Dreamliner enters service. Terminal in Hyderabad extended. Last CRJ700 leaves service, being replaced by a 60 tails strong CRJ700NG fleet. Fleet age below four years.
24AUG: First 787 used on regional services due to slot constraints at some airports
25SEP: Calcutta base opened with 20 A220 and A320neo aircraft, serving domestic and regional destinations. New enhanced catering procedure, to reduce food waste.
01NOV2021: neojets finishes Terminal T4 @ HYD, its first state of the art terminal at our main hub, allowing all passengers to have a seaming-less transfer experience. 160 aircraft based at HYD with 470 daily departures. Massive expansion scheduled for MAA.
01DEC2021: Massive and aggressive expansion across India planned. Hubs planned for CCU, HYD, DEL, BOM, MAA
14DEC2022: Order over 50 brand new A321neo jets, ready to replace older aircraft within the fleet.
01FEB2023: Expansion to Arabia announced. Fleet simplification is considered, in which either CR7, A220, A320 or 787 fleet has to leave.
01APR2023: Hub BOM will be integrated into the mainline within 30 days. A small amount of flying will stay within local BOM enterprise; neojets Bombay moving from 50 to 15 tails. 30 new A321neo will arrive for BOM ops. 737max long haul flying moved to A321LR.
01MAY: BOM Hub integration into mainline completed.
14JUN2023: 50.000th employee is welcomed to the company.
01OCT2023: BOM Hub growth strategy announced. 40 new CRJ700 integrated to boost regional capacity.
Further aircraft investment will pend on attractive aircraft purchase rates.
