### Company News Summary

**January 2021**: neojets is founded with a fleet of 12 CRJ100 and CRJ700 aircraft, alongside two B737-700s. The airline launches its first international route to Phuket using a Dornier 328JET.

**February 2021**: The first A220-300 enters service. The Dornier 328-300 is phased out, replaced by additional CRJ700s. The last B737NG departs as A318 services to Beijing and Nairobi begin.

**March 2021**: The fleet expands to 85 aircraft, reducing the average age to 10.1 years.

**April 2021**: neojets Bengaluru is established for operations from Bengaluru (BLR) with seven ATR72 and A319 aircraft.

**May 2021**: neojets Bombay is launched to support operations from Bombay (BOM).

**July 2021**: A new aircraft base opens in Chennai with 15 CRJ700s.

**August 2021**: The first Boeing 787 enters service, and a new terminal in Hyderabad is opened. The fleet transitions to a 60-strong CRJ700NG lineup, lowering the average age to under four years.

**September 2021**: A base is opened in Calcutta (CCU) with 20 A220 and A320neo aircraft, focusing on domestic and regional routes. Enhanced catering procedures are introduced to minimize food waste.

**November 2021**: The new state-of-the-art Terminal T4 at Hyderabad (HYD) is completed, supporting 160 aircraft and 470 daily departures. Expansion plans are announced for multiple Indian hubs.

**December 2021**: neojets reveals an aggressive expansion strategy across India, including hubs in CCU, HYD, DEL, BOM, and MAA. An order for over 50 new A321neo jets is placed.

**February 2023**: Plans to expand into Arabia are announced, and fleet simplification is considered.
